Walter 'Skip' Koepp

Walter 'Skip' Koepp

2/12/1945 — 9/23/2025

Walter “Skip” Koepp, age 80, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025, at his home in Cameron. He was born Feb. 12, 1945, at Gritman Medical Center in Moscow, to Walter and Rowena Koepp.

Skip graduated from Kendrick High School in 1963 and attended North Idaho College where he met his future wife, Polly Nelson. They were married Jan. 14, 1967, and lived in Cameron, raising two kids, Robyn and Stacey, and farming until the end of his days.

Skip was not one to just sit around; he loved camping, boating, traveling and following his kids and grandkids in sports. There was always a place to go and something different to see, always another adventure around the corner, “another day in paradise” as he would say.

Skip loved following Kendrick sports, especially Tiger football. He would show up extra early to get his favorite spot on the hill to get the best view of the game and honk his horn when something good happened. Later in life, when he wasn’t able to make the games, he would watch videos of the games over and over, giving his advice for future games to his grandsons.

Skip was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Rowena Koepp, and wife Polly. Skip is survived by his sisters Lynn and Judy, son Robyn Koepp and daughter-in-law Erin, daughter Stacey Aiken and son-in-law Tyler, and grandsons Ty and Kolt.

Rest in peace Dad, we’ll catch you on the flip-flop.
