Richard “Dick” W. Daily, 86, of Lewiston, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at his home.

Dick was born to Garland Gale Daily and Annabelle Graham Daily on May 16, 1933, in Mohler, Idaho, and graduated from Craigmont High School in 1951. He grew up in Craigmont before finding his love, Mary Lee Flynn Daily, and moving to Airway Heights. They married June 16, 1955, in Nezperce. Later, he retired and they moved to Lewiston, where he spent the rest of his life. Dick sold fertilizer and chemicals to farmers for much of his life. He also was the mayor pro-tem of Airway Heights. He loved to be a part of the community and made many friends along the way.

Dick loved to hunt and fish with all of his good fishing buddies. The other love of his life was his sweet dog, Xeo.

He is survived by his spouse, Mary Lee Daily; daughter Patti (Ed) Hasenoehrl; sons Rick (Gai) Daily, Doug (Julie) Daily and Jeremy (Danielle) Daily; granddaughters Amanda (Nick) Fross, Richelle (Ray) Shepherd, Gabrielle Daily, Amber Hasenoehrl, Jasmine Daily, Alleana Daily and Alyssa (Martin) Caren; grandson Jared (April) Hasenoehrl, Justin Hasenoehrl; great-grandchildren Kohen and Kasten Fross, Devin and Dawsynn Shepherd, Shayla Daily, Matthew Hasenoehrl, Daely Young, Nolan Caren and Sydni-Madyson Hasenoehrl; and brother-in-law Robert Flynn.

A celebration of life will be held in July at his daughter’s home. Donations can be given to the Green Apple Project or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
