Rebecca Hubbard

9/11/1940 — 2/14/2018

Becky Hubbard passed away peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Sept. 11, 1940, in Portland, Ore., to Robert and Ellen (Laitinen) Womack.

Becky grew up and attended school in Lake Oswego, Ore., and graduated from Lake Oswego High School in 1958. She attended the University of Washington, where she joined the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.

In 1963, Becky married John Morrison upon his discharge from the U.S. Army. Becky and John had two daughters, Molly and Laurie. They lived in Bellevue, Wash., where they owned and operated The Guild Men's Shop clothing store. In 1981, John passed away and Becky took on the role of single mother with great strength, determination and tenacity. She provided a loving and secure home for her daughters.

Becky was blessed to meet the light of her life, Jack Hubbard of Pullman, and they married in 1999. They shared an everlasting bond of love, friendship and devotion. They settled in Clarkston for the remainder of her years and truly enjoyed the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley "banana belt."

Becky adored her family and friends. She was an avid gardener and also enjoyed reading, camping, fishing and jigsaw puzzles. Becky welcomed new adventures and road trips. She treasured the visits to Arch Cape, Ore., visiting her folks and spending time on the beach. Becky was dedicated to her exercise class and embraced her dear friends at the Lewiston Congregational-Presbyterian Church. She was passionate about helping others. She cherished her involvement at the Lewiston Elks Lodge, volunteering in many capacities at Elks functions and community events.

Becky was a positive, thoughtful, caring, happy and loving wife, mother, grandma and friend. She will be deeply missed by all.

Becky is survived by her husband, Jack; daughters Molly Dixon and Laurie Uhrich, both of Seattle; stepdaughter Jeri Baugh of Pullman; stepson John Hubbard (Saija) of Finland; grandchildren Max, Alex, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Lindsay, Melissa, Ava; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father and brother Bob.

A celebration of Becky's life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Congregational-Presbyterian Church in Lewiston. Arrangements are being handled by Malcom's Brower-Wann Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lewiston Elks Lodge No. 896 or charity of your choice.
