
Michelle Harrington, 70, of Lewiston, died Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Orchards View Nursing Home in Lewiston.
Michelle was born July 12, 1955, in Seattle, to Jose and Pauline Gonzales. Her family lived in and around the Seattle area until she graduated from high school. During her early twenties she lived in Hawaii, San Francisco and then moved to the Tri-Cities area.
In 1983, she married Lee Harrington; the two later divorced.
Michelle worked in various secretarial jobs which came natural to her after helping at her dad’s real estate office growing up. Later she became a mental health advocate and worked for the State of Idaho in an outreach role.
She had a love for ’80s music and was known for her unique sense of style. Her love for the Lord brought her great strength and comfort during her life of adversity.
Most of all, she deeply loved her family and is survived by her daughter Andrea and three grandkids, Isaiah, Iyla and Ezra Dale, of Lewiston; her sister, Lisa Harris, of San Antonio; a niece, two nephews and cousins throughout the country also survive. Her sister Debbie Whitehill and brother Ricardo Gonzales, preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, at New Ground Alliance Church, 817 Libby St., Clarkston. Pastor Bill Creutzberg will officiate.
