Kathleen Taylor

Kathleen Marie Taylor passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016, at Tri-State Memorial Hospital of heart failure.

Kathy was born April 4, 1948, to Donald W. and Jean L. Richardson in Lewiston. Kathy was raised in Lewiston and attended Lewiston schools.

She married Jack L. Taylor on March 20, 1971, in Coeur d'Alene. Kathy worked for the Department of Social and Health Services in Clarkston as a social worker until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack L. Taylor; her parents, Donald and Jean Richardson; a daughter, Tracy L. Kelly; stepson Steve Taylor; sisters Monta Vermillion, Diane Jones and Sharron Redden; and brothers Pat Richardson and Don Richardson.

She is survived by her sister, Margie (Bob) Pontius; brothers Alan Richardson and Mike (Cindy) Richardson; stepdaughter Kristi (Jay) Reeves; sister-in-law Joan Richardson; brothers-in-law Perry Taylor and Dennis Taylor; grandchildren Whitney Bu-Arki, Hannah Bennett, Cole Bennett and Josh Taylor; as well as great-grandson Tryce Alboucq, who was the light of her life. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved like her grandchildren, as well as many friends she considered family.

There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Malcom's Brower-Wann Funeral Home in Lewiston. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
