Timmothy King

Timmothy King

5/7/2007 — 5/14/2019

Timothy Paul King, 12, of Lewiston, went home to heaven on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, of complications from pneumonia. Timothy was born May 7, 2007, in Lewiston. At 6 months old, he was diagnosed with congenital muscular dystrophy. Growing up, he never felt that he was handicapped, just challenged.

He lived a full life, embracing the challenges and proving that you don’t have to be able to walk and run to do things. He loved to go camping with his family, and fishing for salmon with his dad and close family friends. One of his favorite memories was visiting and swimming at Crater Lake, Ore. Timothy was the type of child who always had a smile on his face and made friends easily; everyone who met him loved him. His greatest joy in life was being an older brother to his three younger siblings. He loved playing video games and could easily learn things that would help him beat most adults that he played against. He loved life, always looking forward to new adventures, and loved to share his enthusiasm with others. He was never one to back down when someone would ask what was wrong with him, or why he couldn’t walk. His light definitely shined bright and he will be greatly missed by more people than he even knew.

Timothy is survived by parents Timothy W. and Carisa King; siblings Amanda, 8, Patricia, 6 and Isaac, 3; maternal grandparents Russell (Papa) and Kathryn (MomMom) Fisher; paternal grandparents Timothy R. and Deana King; adopted uncle and godparent Justin Broneske; uncle Raymond Leep; aunt Khrystyne Fisher; uncle Benjamin King; uncle Tucker Fisher and Joy; Aunt Rebekah and Alex Garcia; uncle Caleb and Kylie King; uncle Joshua King; and aunt Rachel King; all of Lewiston; great-grandparents Bob and Patricia Keel of Oregon; great-grandpa Bill Lindell of Clarkston; great uncle Randy Fisher of Puyallup, Wash.; great aunt Melissa Taylor of Spokane; and many cousins and other great aunts and uncles.

Timothy was met by many loved ones when he went home to heaven.

There will be a celebration of life at the Lewiston Community Center from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 30.
