Tillman (Tim) Haskell

Tillman (Tim) Haskell

2/16/1960 — 2/24/2015

Tillman (Tim) Haskell was born Feb. 16, 1960, in Lewiston, to Dorothy and George Haskell. He passed away Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, at his home in Clarkston.

Most of you know Tim as the "Tow Man," because that is what he did for many years and he did it with a passion. Everyone knew Tim as a laid back, huge-hearted, kind jokester who was always smiling or laughing. He never had room for hate or anger in his heart. He would give the shirt off his back for someone who needed it.

Tim was a wild one in his younger days; he loved to party and have a good time. That was until he met Kelly Hutchins and fell in love and got married. They had four beautiful children whom they love very much. They later divorced, but kept a very close friendship.

Tim loved spending time with friends and family, especially his grandkids. He enjoyed barbecuing, having a few beers or a shot of tequila and hanging out. He enjoyed terrorizing his grandkids by telling them tall tales and taking pictures of them when they were crying. He had some weird sayings like "doesn't that just frost your pickle" or "a ring around a pig's butt's all pork." He liked giving people a hard time and getting them to believe his crazy stories. Tim's quick wit and contagious smile will be greatly and forever missed by everyone. He is truly off to see the wizard.

Tim was preceded in death by his mom, Dorothy; and brother Billy.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Kelly Hutchins; his children, Chelsea Hutchins, Kayleb Hutchins, Braeson Haskell and Cierra Haskell; his grandchildren, Aiva, Amarie, Kalayiah, Taccoah, Logan and Annabeth; his brothers, Pat, Mike and Danny; his sister, Corrina; his father, George; and many, many friends who loved him dearly.

His memorial will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Asotin Church at 305 First St., Asotin. There will be a covered-dish meal to follow from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Those who can bring a dish to celebrate Tim's life, please do.
