Stanley Hill of Reubens died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2013, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston. He was 70.
He was born May 29, 1943, in Lewiston to L. Carl and Elinor Hill. He attended school in Reubens. He married Linda McGee on Sept. 10, 1959, in Lewiston. He owned and operated Hill Farms in Reubens with his sons, Todd and Tracy.
He enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, four-wheeling and his cattle and horses. He belonged to the Lewiston Elks Lodge for 42 years, was a member of the National Cattle Association, the Nez Perce County Wheat Growers and Nez Perce County Cattlemen's Association.
He dearly loved his family, especially his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; sons Todd and wife Leah and Tracy; daughter Teresa Cane; grandkids Mercedes, Robbie and Alexus Cane; sisters Clarice Knowlton and Linda Osburn; and brother Jerry and Su Hill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Elinor Hill; brother Don Hill; sister Sandra Hill; nephews Roddie Hill and Terry Knowlton; and daughter Carole Ann Hill.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Cottonwood Creek Community Church, Gifford-Reubens Road. A dinner will be provided by the church following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Jackson Baldwin Foundation or a charity of your choice.
