Sheila Kay Boston passed away Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014. She was 66 years old.

Sheila was born July 24, 1948, on Grouse Flats, Ore., to Dewey and Myrtle (Nelson) Boston. She grew up on Grouse Flats on the family homestead. After graduation, she moved to Lewiston and later to Clarkston. She worked as a homemaker for 13 years and then went to work for the Clarkston School District at Lincoln and Parkway schools to support her family. She was a custodian there for 34 years, retiring just 18 days before her death. Sheila was also a caregiver for the past 16 years and a foster parent for the past 14 years. Sheila was a caring individual who had a loving and giving heart. She brought her sense of compassion to all she came in contact with.

Sheila is survived by her partner of 14 years, Mark Miles; her brother, Keith Carrico; children Michelle (Michael) Naylor, Shawn (Keri) Ham and Shane Ham; grandchildren Brittney and Bryant Kaufman, Andrew Brown, Collin Ham, Kyler, Kyson and Maraya Fletcher, and Macie and Michael Ham. She was preceded in death by both parents; and a granddaughter, Amanda Brown.

At her request, there will be no funeral service, but a celebration of life will be held in the Clarkston Heights Grange Hall. For information, contact the family at her home phone number.

my prayers are with you mark and family when i ran around with her we called her johnny she and i were good frienxds in the 60's then i left town be when i returned i would see her if i could or would run into her she was a great person and i will forever love her and her family who took me as their own god bless sally delema vargas
