Ronald (Red) Donohue

Ronald "Red" Earl Donohue left this world suddenly Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Ron was born July 22, 1958, to Arthur and Donna Donohue in Snoqualmie, Wash.

When Ron was young, the family moved back to Lewiston, where he spent most of his life. Ron worked for Firestone, Pacific Hide and Fur and Sutton Salvage. He was also a mechanic with a love of old cars, trucks and Harleys - he could make them run like new and tuned them by ear. Ron also had a passion for antiques and the junk yard.Ron was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Donohue.

He is survived by his son, Rossco Donohue of Lewiston; mother Donna Kerr of Clarkston; brothers Kevin Donohue of Sumner, Wash., and Jim Donohue of Nampa; and sister Kim Donohue-Morris (husband Alex) of Asotin.

The family is planning a celebration of life for 1 p.m. Saturday at the Hells Canyon Boat Club, State Route 129 and Post Lane, Clarkston. Please come share memories.

In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks that people take time to smell the roses, say "I love you" and spend more time with those who mean the most.
