Milford James Osborn of Kendrick passed peacefully Saturday, June 4, 2016.
He was born June 18, 1932, in Kalispell, Mont. He married Violet Brown of Kendrick on Oct. 4, 1952.
Milford is survived by his five children, Marcella Salter of Dallas, Cynthia Sohns of Moscow, Eddie Osborn of Kendrick, Judy Osborn of Lewiston, and Michael Osborn of Palouse. He is also survived by two sisters, Peggy Cann of Kennewick and Bertha Drury of Grangeville; 24 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Milford retired after 30 years with the Union Pacific-Burlington Northern Railroad. Rarely seen without a dip of Copenhagen, he loved to fish for steelhead and always filled his deer tag. Milford was a quiet, humble, hardworking, honest man who was looked up to and respected by anyone who ever knew him.
A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at Malcom's Brower-Wann Funeral Home, 1711 18th St. Lewiston.
