Larry Casey passed away Wednesday night, Aug. 29, 2018, in Lewiston, surrounded by his family. He was battling cancer for the last three years. He was 61 years old and left behind his loving wife, Anita.
Larry was born in 1957 to Wilma and Warren Casey of Gridley, Calif. Larry’s family included his three brothers Michael, John and Timmy, and sister, Shannon. Larry graduated from Gridley High School in 1976 and served proudly in the U.S. Navy.
Larry was married to Marlene Casey and they had two children, Matthew and Drew. They moved to Kamiah in 1994 and Larry began working for Sprague Pest Control. Larry and Marlene separated in 2004 and Larry moved to the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley. Larry and Anita married in 2016.
Larry enjoyed hunting and camping throughout the West Coast, along with touring on his Harley-Davidson and trips to Sturgis, S.D. Larry will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving father, caring husband and avid outdoorsman.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Warren Casey; and brother Timmy Casey. He is survived by his wife, Anita; his children, Matthew (Cory), Drew, Kelsie, Tara (Adam), Kendra (Tristen) and Tyrel; and his grandchildren, Alexis, Sawyer, Jackson, June, Deveigh, Dante, Kolby, Kendall and McKenna.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at Malcom’s Brower-Wann Funeral Home and Cremation, 1711 18th St., Lewiston, with viewing at 9 a.m., and ceremony at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens, Seventh and Cedar in Lewiston, followed by a reception at Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall, 1104 Warner Ave., Lewiston.
