Our hearts are heavy over the loss of our beloved son, father, brother, uncle and friend, John Thomas Klopfer. He died Monday, July 8, 2024, at such a young age. He was 47. John truly loved to help people. We know of no time in his life that he said no to anyone in need of help. Whether it was to work on your vehicle, help you move, work extra shifts or paint your house, John never said no. He was very mechanically astute, and loved to work on anything.
John was employed by Happy Day Corporation as a prep cook.
John is survived by his father William Thomas Klopfer and stepmother Honi, of Clarkston; his mother Maura Klopfer; sister Cheryl Klopfer; sons Johnny Klopfer Jr. and Brandon Klopfer (Haley); granddaughter, Ellianna, of Hayfork, Calif.; brother, Lincoln Hoene (Mercedes Harris); and two nephews, Carter and Camden Hoene, of Lewiston.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
John’s death is under investigation by the Lewiston Police Department.
