On Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015, Jerry Wayne Olmstead, age 73, of Lewiston, peacefully transitioned into eternal rest with his family at his side after a brief but valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was an avid gardener and loved sharing his harvest with anyone willing to take it. He also enjoyed camping on the Salmon River with his wife and children, and his late father-in-law, Fred Vincent.
