Known as “Jim” or “Jimmy” by most who knew him, passed on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026, in Lewiston. He was the son of David Oglesbee and Bonnita (Clark) Oswald, born in Lewiston and made a comfortable life for himself there.
A long-standing employee at Rosauers this is where he met his long-time life companion Linda Jordan. Together they loved their dogs and sought out many adventures in the surrounding area; exploring, camping and boating. He remained in contact with many of his childhood friends and stepfamily, which supported him with kindness and compassion. Known as a jokester and prankster to many, including a large extended family, his elaborately embellished tales will be missed.
He is survived by his partner Linda Jordan, sister Michelle Linke (Jason), nieces Sierra Christensen (Jordan) and Catelyn, great-nieces and great-nephew, stepparents and families as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
