Born to Thomas and Georgia Flowers on Jan. 14, 1948, as James William Flowers, Bill passed into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Friday, April 5, 2019.
Bill graduated from Salmon River High School in Riggins. Bill participated in football and basketball. He was known for his skill as a truck driver and his gift of teaching others to drive truck. Bill drove for more than 50 years, logging more than 5.5 million miles.
Bill enjoyed the outdoors, raising cattle and horses with uncle Bill, working with youth in 4-H, and being with family. Bill married Judy Lambson in 1967. They had two children. They later divorced. Bill married Bobbi Nichols, whom he shared more than 17 years with.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and sister Linda. Bill is survived by his wife; a daughter; a son; a stepdaughter; four granddaughters; three grandsons; a great-granddaughter; three great-grandsons; three sisters; a brother; numerous nieces and nephews; two aunts; and numerous cousins.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the House of Faith, 2502 16th Ave., Lewiston.
