I just found this notice. I fostered Ira and his siblings a while. This brings me great sadness. My last moments with Ira were caught in a big hug, both of us crying, as he was being moved back to Idaho. I later lived in Idaho, and it was beautiful. I hope he enjoyed it. I loved that little man when we was 10. I'm so glad to see others post nice things about how he grew up with love in his heart.

Ira James elwell called me his best friend for years and introduced me to countless people and family and i have a lot to say about Ira....He had alot of plans and friends.....i didn't have very many best freinds....in fact he was the only one worth having as a best friend. No one else talked so much love for me than him he nick named me Casper. He chose me for something great. ....and i studied how a man could feel so free to live life to the fullest and have responsibility....i.couldnt just walk where i wanted to go.....Ira and I used to be free till jessica came into my life....ira was still there Jessica lost a good brother also....she experienced what always defended ira saying he has my respect for being so free to talk or amuse someone on a whim and leave on a mission to help someone and have fun too..i.had a responsibility to my girl and kids as i aquired my family he worked harder to be there for my whole family not just me everyone around me. ...i buried a good man and im proud of every second in that man's life.....he gave me a family.....im honored to party with him and just watch a show with him or just be company or a pile of blankets on the floor he wanted to be needed so i gave him a place with me.....love you family and friends i have more to say
