Helen Ruth Ingram passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. She was born July 24, 1927, in Kamiah, to Robert and Ruth Jewell. When she was 8 years old, the family moved to Orofino, where she went to school, graduating from high school in 1944.
In 1949, she married Donald Ingram of Orofino, and they lived most of their married life in Lewiston.
Helen was interested mainly in her family, but liked volunteering, especially at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. She also enjoyed volunteering and raising money for the March of Dimes. She loved to crochet and gave many beautiful items to friends and family.
She is survived by son Brian and wife Gail; her granddaughter, Marie Teslow and husband Jacob; great-granddaughters Taylor and Payton Teslow; and her sister, Gladys Brooks, of Orofino.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald; daughter Linda Trimp; and sister Bobbie Beck.
Cremation has taken place, and there will be a family memorial later.
