He was born Feb. 23, 1944, in Maywood, Calif., to Thomas C. Williamson and Venice B. (McGrew) Williamson. He lived in Compton, Calif., and attended school there. He worked in Norwalk, Calif., and Mountain Home, Ark., as a general contractor before he moved to Clarkston in 1999 to continue his work.
He attended Lewiston Foursquare Church and was a member of the Camas Prairie Pigeon Club and organizer of a special pigeon race fundraiser for the Northwest Children's Home.
He was engaged to Laura Berglund of Clarkston, who survives him; as well as his sisters, Shirley Patterson of Leavenworth, Kan., and Alice White (Robert) of Clarkston; children Linda, Shelly, Thomas, Shirley and Justin; along with many grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Williamson; mother Venice Williamson; brother Loren Williamson; sisters Marjorie Bell and Mary Lou Merz; and daughters Nicole and Teresa.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Normal Hill Cemetery, with Rev. Robert H. White officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday at Malcom's Brower-Wann.
