Obituary

Frances was born July 19, 1916, in English, Texas, to John H. and Beulah F. Medlin. Frances' mother died in childbirth so she was named for her mother, Beulah Frances; however, she preferred to be known as Frances. She was the youngest of seven children.

Her family moved to various places in the Southwest and was living in Fort Sumner, N.M., when she met and married her husband, Odis Norris, on June 21, 1938. They had a daughter, Delitha Norris Kilgore (Dwight) of Lewiston, and a son, Dwayne Norris (Marilyn) of Vancouver, Wash. She has two grandchildren, DeeAnn Thomson (Bryan) of Moscow and Darrell Kilgore of Moscow; and five great-grandchildren. Her husband, Odis, passed away in 1964.

Frances and Odis moved to Colorado in 1944, where they ranched near Pueblo and Leadville, and moved back to Pueblo in 1948. She lived there until 1994, when she moved to the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley to be near her daughter.

She was a homemaker all her life and enjoyed quilting in her later years. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Viewing will be from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Malcom's Brower-Wann Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pueblo, Colo. A local memorial service will be held later at Royal Plaza Retirement Center.
