Edna L. Magee, 93, was born to Isaac T. and Anna M. Kimbley on April 17, 1920, in Crescent, Idaho, and passed away Feb. 25, 2014, in Lewiston.
Edna married George Magee in 1942. They had two sons born to them, Jim and Bill. They farmed the ranch until George was called to serve in the military. Edna and the boys moved to Kendrick to live until George returned from his tour of duty in the U.S. Army. The family then moved to Cavendish, where he farmed for many years. The Magees moved to Genesee to farm the Fred Magee farm. Jim and Bill graduated from Genesee High School, and later George and Edna moved to Lewiston.
Edna is survived by one grandson, Jim, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Magee; her parents; her two sons, Jim and Bill; two sisters, Irene Hudson and Margaret Craig; two brothers, Lloyd Kimbley and Robert Kimbley; and three nephews, Gerald Hudson, Robert Hudson and Burt Kimbley.
Malcom's Brower-Wann Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. March 8 at the Genesee City Cemetery.
