Dean was born Dec. 8, 1948, in Lewiston. He died at home in Kendrick on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018.
Dean served in the U.S. Army. He was a disabled Vietnam veteran, receiving three Purple Heart medals and a Bronze Star with a “V” for Valor. Dean’s death was a result of nearly a decade of fighting multiple cancers derived from Agent Orange. He often said he made his peace with God while serving in Vietnam.
Dean left behind not only his parents and wife, but his daughters, grandsons, siblings, extended family and friends. You know who you are, and Dean/Jive loved you all. He felt your love, too. Following the wishes of Dean, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Please remember Dean in your own special way.
