Daniel D. Bennett passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, Nov. 13, 2023. He was 79 years old.

He was born on March 23, 1944, in Falls City, Neb. He was the youngest of three. He lived on the family farm with his parents, Hannibal and Helen; the eldest brother, Gayle; and his older sister, Alice. His siblings preceded him in passing.

In 1969, he left Nebraska for Idaho. Two years later he met his loving wife, Gail, and they began building their family. Two sons were born. They then moved back to Nebraska and had two more sons.

Eventually each of the sons, Daniel, Robert, Christopher, and Adam would make their own families, turning Dan into a doting happy grandpa.

In his free time, he loved anything to do with being outdoors like hunting or camping. But his biggest love was fishing. He left impressions within the hearts of everyone who knew him. Those will not be forgotten.

To honor his request, no services will be held.
