Dan Mondragon was born on March 25, 1943, in Taos, N.M., and passed Tuesday, March 25, 2025, in Lewiston. He is survived by his wife, Beverley, who resides in Lewiston.
Dan grew up in Rock Springs, Wyo., graduating high school in 1962. He then moved to Moscow for work and was also a member of the Idaho National Guard. Dan owned businesses in Pullman from the 1970s to the 1990s and moved to Lewiston at the turn of the century. He met his wife Beverley through friends at the Clarkston Country Club where they enjoyed many rounds of golf together and with friends.
Beverley and Dan were married at Carson City, Nev., taking their vows there in 2005. They have made their residence in Lewiston ever since then. Life takes many ups and downs, and Bev and Dan were able to raise Bev’s great-granddaughter, Adriana, until she was 5 years old when she was adopted by Chris and Melissa Mayberry. Dan was very proud to be able to raise Adriana at this important time of her life. Dan enjoyed fishing, golfing and sharing meals with his many friends in Pullman, Moscow, Clarkston and Lewiston.
Dan is survived by his son Mike, and Mike’s spouse Allison, and their children Danny and Maggie who reside at Bainbridge Island, Wash. He is also survived by his wife Beverley, her two sons Brad and Kass, and Bev’s three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Dan’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at CrossPoint Alliance Church, 1330 Powers Ave., Lewiston.
