Clay Bickford passed away in his sleep early Tuesday, July 1, 2025. He was born Feb. 8, 1961, to Doug and Patsy Bickford.
Clay loved his family, friends, fun and cattle most of all.
John Pearson, Clay’s partner at the Lewiston Livestock Auction said it best: “Clay loved the sound of a cattle auction, whether he was on the auctioneer’s block, in the crowd, at his home or even in a hospital bed.”
Clay became an auctioneer in his early 20s. He donated his auctioneer skills to many county fairs. He received a “Qualifying Event Judge” at the 2014 World Livestock Auctioneers Championship.
