Kind eyes, a beautiful smile and a heart of compassion are what each of us will think of when we remember Charlie.
Charlie Robison was born Feb. 16, 1959, in Wichita, Kan. His dad, the Rev. E.J. Robison, was never more proud and his mother, Lois Robison, loved him and treasured him every day of his life.
Charlie spent his early years with his mother and father, living in San Francisco and Santa Rosa, Calif., before returning to Idaho to be closer to his extended family.
After attending school in Lewiston, Charlie moved to Tulsa, Okla., where he graduated from Victory Bible Institute. From elementary school through Bible school, Charlie's love for hurting and lonely people was evident. He loved everyone - young and old.
After Bible school, Charlie returned to the Northwest to manage bowling centers in Washington and Oregon. Though he always preferred to stay in the background, Charlie was a local favorite, working at Lancer Lanes and scoring several perfect 300 games.
Charlie passed away holding his mother's hand on Monday, Sept. 5, 2016. He is survived by his mother, and scores of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
His family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 2 p.m. today at Malcom's Brower-Wann Funeral Home in Lewiston.
Sometimes when people lead such a quiet life, you wonder if anyone will notice when they are gone. We notice, and we will miss him every day.
