Shirley Ann (Staley) Smith, at the age of 66 passed away on March 15^th, 2024, in Lewiston, Idaho where she lived for the last 21 years. She was born in Ontario, Oregon on February 18, 1958, and was raised in Payette, Idaho before she married Mark Smith Sr and traveled the world while Mark served in the U.S. Army.

Shirley loved spending time with her family and will be dearly missed by her husband, Mark Kevin Smith Sr., her children Kerri Jo (Matthew) Lovelass, Sarah Ann (Travis) Hayward, Mark Kevin Jr. (Andrew) Thorne, her 12 grandchildren, Elizabeth Anne Allen, Vernon Dail Hammond Jr., Johnathan Thomas Hammond, Gabriel Michael Lovelass, Andrew James Butler, Jennifer Lynn Lovelass, Hallie Jo Lovelass, Ann Margaret Oviatt, Pacience Cathryn Oviatt, Roselynn Grace Oviatt, and Allison Grace Thobis, her two great-granddaughters Emma Ann Allen and Nora Lynn Thobis. She is now reunited with her daughter, Mary Elva Hammond, her father, Donald Staley, and her mother, Shirley "Pat" Staley.

Shirley dedicated 17 years of her life working at Vista Outdoors, where she made a lasting impact on coworkers and visitors alike. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to the Shriners Hospital in Shirley's memory.

May Shirley Ann Smith's memory be cherished by all whom she impacted and all that knew her.

The funeral arrangements are being handled by Malcom's Brower-Wann Funeral Home in Lewiston, Idaho.
